Greetings and welcome to the Sundown EP, which is a thoughtful rumination in rap on such topics as the music industry, race and class, vibrations and mortality. The lush soundscapes by Freddie Marr laid the foundation for what this project would become. Freddie sent the tunes to Th.iii.rd. Th.iii.rd never said a darn thing about the music, but unbeknownst to us at LoDo, he was quietly, hard at work crafting a brilliant tapestry: on a random day, the songs, fully fleshed out with vocals, appeared on Google Drive ready for mixing.

For the uninitiated:

Freddie Marr is a beat production super group consisting of Tone @ (of the Pseudo Intellectuals and Tommy Quattro (of 25 Metro).

And Th.iii.rd is a new way to stylize the name of legendary Buffalo born emcee extraordinaire Third Son AKA Thrice Third AKA A.L. Third AKA will-blow-your-mind-on-this-EP.

This trio has combined to create a piece of work that we here at LoDo Industries are proud to present. Please pass it around -- we think this is a special one.
